  1. Handlebars

With KTM’s new models, and their lower handlebars, Simeon find’s it much easier when hill climbing. Also, faster sections are much more stable, as you are kind of “snug” to the bike. Your hole upper body is almost parallel to the saddle, which is the perfect and most stable body position on a dirtbike. Our professional guide likes his handlebars parallel to the front suspension, as well as being a little bit forward (if you flip the handlebar clamp it get’s 1/2cm forward), like this it feels more like a trial bike.

  1. Suspension

-What we do with our suspension is making it a little bit softer, with a faster rebound. The motorcycle starts feeling more playful, you can jump over rocks and logs easier, and it doesn’t get you tired that much. It also absorbs small bumps, that might get you unbalanced and out of route when going fast on uphills.

  1. Saddle

-We recommend putting some kind of a tuning saddle cover. By doing so, it gets much easier on your hands on the technical stuff, when the bike wants to slip of you.

  1. Sprockets

-Getting the perfect setup of sprockets for enduro is pretty hard, as terrain varies every moment. Especially in Bulgaria, the terrain could be sandy, rocky, rivers, grass… In this case what we try to do is make the gears shorter, so that you have more torque and options. What we do is, we play between 12/50, 13/50 and everything in between.

  1. Tyres

-With tyres in enduro the dilemma is the same as gearing ratio. Nothing works perfectly in every condition. The standard formula, however, is a harder tyre for fast and dry conditions and super soft tyre for extreme conditions.

Overall, by coming on an enduro tour with us in Bulgaria, we will talk about proper bike setup, how it affects your riding, and how to make your riding more enjoyable!
